Short version: your credit report is read on your phone and never leaves it. We have no accounts, no servers that hold your data, no analytics and no ads.

What the app does with your report
- When you open a credit report PDF, the app reads its text on your phone to find the bureau name, score, report date and account counts.
- The PDF itself is not copied or kept. If the PDF has a password, it is used only to open the file and is not stored.
- You confirm or correct the details, and only those details are saved: bureau, score, report date, and optional account totals (accounts, active accounts, overdue accounts, overdue amount, enquiries).
- We never read or save your name, PAN, address, phone number, date of birth or account numbers.
Where it is stored
The saved details stay on your device in encrypted storage. The encryption key is kept in your phone's secure keystore (Android Keystore or iOS Keychain). Nothing is uploaded to us or anyone else. You can delete everything at any time from More → Delete all my data, or by uninstalling the app.
If you turn on the app lock, your phone's fingerprint, face or screen lock is checked by the phone itself. The app never sees your biometric data.
Internet use
The app downloads one small public settings file from scorekannadi.girishdevstack.com (official bureau links, the minimum supported version and notices). This request contains no personal information. Like any website, our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time) for security.
Buttons that open a credit bureau's website take you to that bureau. Their own privacy policies apply there.
Estimates and accuracy
Score Kannadi is not linked to CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, CRIF High Mark or any lender. Scores come from your own reports, and the simulator only gives an estimate to plan with.
Children
The app is meant for adults who have or plan to have credit. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
